Denim was chosen and then treated as though it were not denim. Weight was taken out, structure removed. Only the movement was kept.

Cotton blended with elastane. Soft to the touch and light enough to fall rather than hold.

Thin ties knot at each shoulder. The neckline sits where you set it, front and back.

The skirt drops at four points. It swings wide and settles unevenly when you stop.

Soft-touch lining sits behind the top. It gives the bodice shape without adding stiffness.

Craft

Cut, panelled, hemmed.

The skirt is built from shaped panels so the fall is uneven by design, not by cutting. Hems are finished with invisible stitching. Double stitching holds the bodice.
